Wine Profile - 2022 Bourbon Barrel Red Blend

This Red Blend is full of minty-chocolate aromas, with hints of dark roast coffee and blackstrap molasses.  In the mouth, it has a medium body with a creamy texture and notes of raspberry jam.

About The Vineyard - 2022 Bourbon Barrel Red Blend

This wine is a blend of Cab Sauv from France, Petite Sirah from Mendocino and Merlot from Sonoma.  Each component brings something unique to the party.

About The Winemaking - 2022 Bourbon Barrel Red Blend

All three varieties were fermented separately, and this wine was classically vinified with warmer (upper 80’s) temperatures to drive jammy fruit character.  Press wine and free run were combined to age in French oak wine barrels for 12 months prior to finishing for another three months in Bourbon barrels sourced by our Nashville team.

Recommended Pairings - 2022 Bourbon Barrel Red Blend

Pair this wine with a coffee-rubbed rib eye, fried brussels sprouts, flourless chocolate cake and your favorite cigar.  Don’t forget a shot of Tennessee Whiskey as a sidecar companion.

Step 1: Grape Selection

We carefully select vineyards around the world to supply grapes for our wines. Prior to harvest, we choose our preferred varietals with terroir, weather, and farming practices in mind. The grapes are picked at their peak, and then shipped to each of our local wineries for production.
