Growing up on the outskirts of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, Kandace Saunders decided she'd rather tell jokes than play with ordnance. At ten years old, Kandace began writing and performing stand-up comedy routines on the playground in her neighborhood. For years, Kandace entertained classmates, friends, and family. Then, one day, acting on words scribbled by a stranger in a homemade yearbook, Kandace decided to try stand-up comedy.
Kandace Saunders made her comedic debut in 2006 during a comedy competition at the DC Improv. Although, she didn’t win, she didn’t get booed, and people laughed. So, for Kandace, that was enough to pursue a career in standup comedy. Kandace’s sarcasm, and quick wit, coupled with her ability to turn life into “extremely laughable situations”, has allowed her to become one of today’s fastest rising comedians. You can catch Kandace at comedy clubs and colleges across the country.
Known for being a kid with a shy attitude from Washington DC, Keith Correy started Stand Up comedy at the age of 16, merely to prove something of himself. While lying to his single mother about working a normal job every night, his quiet but weird demeanor gave him the opportunity to observe his surroundings and present them on stage every night. Keith Correy’s sense of humor is a deep abrupt weird aspect of his life, surroundings and even issues of today. His truth in every joke brings light and appeal to smiling faces to stages and venues around the country.
Matt Bergman has been performing at clubs and colleges since he was in college pursuing a degree in criminal justice. After graduating, he realized he was afraid of criminals and decided stand-up comedy was the way to go.
As it turns out Bergman made the right decision quickly becoming one of the most sought out comedians working today. His ability to relate to any audience has allowed him to work with comics from Mike Birbiglia to Bruce Bruce and any audience in between. He’s a favorite at colleges across the country and was selected to be a part of the Inaugural Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta.
Bergmans debut CD “A Little Bit Balder Now” landed him at #15 on the iTunes comedy charts and he’s appeared on AXS TV Live at Gotham.
Camille Roberts is an emerging D.C. based comedian recently featured on the Underground Comedy Fest and the Charm City Comedy Festival. She has performed all over the country and internationally and opened for Whitney Cummings at Flappers Comedy Club this past year. Her unique observational, silly, and story-telling voice play into her hot take on mental health, gender, sexuality, and debilitating catholic guilt.
