Beautiful, passionate and hardworking are words often used to describe Beyonce Knowles and those same words are used to describe the world-renowned illusionist of Beyonce and her name is Riley Knoxx. She specializes in bringing a live concert experience to Beyonce fans around the world. She has mastered her moves, mannerisms and even her makeup and like Bey is a force to be reckoned with.
Riley Knoxx discovered who she wanted to be at the tender age of 5. As a child Riley was known for running around the house with a pillowcase on her head, flashlight in her hand pretending it was a microphone, singing Whitney Houston songs and everyone knew
she was special. From that age Riley started to develop herself in music, acting and entertaining.
In 2003 Beyonce released her first solo album and her song ”Crazy In Love” was an instant hit. After performing as an illusionist for other artist for many years, at a friend's birthday party Riley
performed “Crazy In Love” and quickly became known as "DC's own Beyonce". Intrigued and excited about the positive feedback Riley began studying Beyonce by watching every concert, interview and video to learn more acts and perfect her moves. With her team of dancers, wind machines and mastered choreography Riley will leave you feeling like you were at a Beyonce concert.
Knoxx has been featured on many reality shows such as R&B Divas and Drag City DC. She has performed for politicians and celebrities around the country such as Jennifer Hudson, Mya, Miley Cyrus, Deborah Cox, Faith Evans, Andy Cohen, and Anderson Cooper. She has graced stages to sold out shows at the Kennedy Center, the historic Howard Theater, where
she has performed to sold-out audiences over 22times and Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in New York City.
Riley is also an activist, recording artist and actress. As a transgender woman and activist Riley Knoxx has devoted her time to fighting for the rights of transgender women and been an advocate for the community. In 2016 Riley earned critical acclaim when she released her first single Turn Me On followed up by her second single Beat Controller. Knoxx has also acted in web series, stage plays, and independent films over the span of her career including playing Deena Jones in Dreamgirls. She has appeared dozens of times on radio stations and news stations across the country. She is also a contributor to Fox 5 DC.
With praise and approval from Beyoncé herself, Riley Knoxx shows no signs of slowing down yet. As Beyonce continues to grow, so will Riley, so look out, because she is coming.
