City WineryDINING

Wine inspired, regionally influenced, locally sourced

We have created a cuisine that borrows from Mediterranean history – Italian, French, Spanish and Middle-Eastern cultures have been pairing simple and wholesome food with wine for centuries. With this in mind, our culinary team has created large plates to pair with your wine. Our award-winning wine list has over 800 unique producers from around the world, in addition to the more than 20 in-house produced wines sourced from vineyards in California, Oregon, Washington, Argentina and Chile. Executive Chef Washington, DC: Brandon Ingentio

Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar

The Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar is located on our first floor with features of exposed brick, views of our winery and aging oak barrels. The glass backdrop into our fully functional winery is the statement piece along with a large bar, hugged with wine barrels, for light bites and sipping wine flights. Our adjacent lounge is complete with a full garage door, open with a welcoming breeze. Sit down and relax as our staff guides you through our delicious, wine inspired menu. As Ivy City's first fully functioning winery, we are proud to source our grapes from a selection of the best vineyards in California, Oregon, Washington, and Argentina. Our wines are served Barrel to Glass, utilizing an in house tap system. Our tap system, developed by City Winery’s master wine maker David Lecomte, has been recognized for its “green” approach with no need for bottling, corks or labels; and therefore, minimal impact on the environment. Our Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar is open for dinner service.
