What do I use as my ticket?
We do not issue paper tickets. Your name is on a list at the front door. Your email confirmation and a photo ID are required to check in.
Is your venue ADA accessible?
Yes, all four floors of our facility are ADA accessible. We accommodate all of our guests who may need ADA accessible seating. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact our Concierge at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 202-250-2531.
How do I get there? Is there secure parking?
We are located just off of New York Ave NE, roughly one mile from Gallaudet University and less than 2 miles from Union Station. $12 valet parking is available to our guests every day of the week, during normal business hours. There is a secure parking garage one block away from the venue located at 1508 Okie St NE, in the same building as MOM's Organic Market. The secure parking garage is free for the first 90 minutes, and the maximum charge is $8.00/day. Street parking is also available on the surrounding streets including Okie St. NE. The closest Metro station is NoMa-Gallaudet U (New York Ave) Metro Station. City Winery DC is located 1.7 miles away, on New York Ave. NW. For bus schedules, metro hours of operation and more public transportation information, go to www.wmata.com. For driving directions: From Maryland, take MD-3 S and US-50 W or MD-32 W and Baltimore-Washington Pkwy to New York Ave NE. From Virginia, take I-395 N to New York Ave NW. From West Virginia Ave NE, turn on Fenwick St. NE and left on Okie St. NE. City Winery will be on your right. From New York Ave NE, turn on Fenwick St. NE and go right on Okie st. NE. City Winery will be on your right.

Can I bring in a cake or desserts for my party?
We always encourage our guests to explore our custom cakes offerings from our pastry chef. Order online here with 72 hours notice, and we will make your cake fresh for you on the day of your reservation. For those guests who would prefer to bring in an outside cake, cupcakes, or other desserts, there will be a $5 cake cutting fee per person.
What are wine growlers?
Growlers allow guests to have any of our City Winery wines available to go - even if we haven’t bottled them! All of our City Winery tap wines that are not available in bottles are available to go as growlers - prices vary by wine.

What do I need to ensure my reservation?
Your tickets serve as your reservation automatically. You do not need an additional reservation to eat and drink at your seats for the show, which will be held for you until the end of the show. All ticket sales are final. No refunds or credits.
How long before a show can I sit down?
Your seats are typically available to you at the specified “Door” time, typically 2 hours prior to the show. Check out our Ticket page for more information or email our concierge.
Can I bring my own wine in?
Guests are encouraged to explore our wine list ahead of their visit. If you still wish to bring in your own bottle of wine and it is not available on our list, the manager on duty may allow outside bottles at their discretion for a $25 corkage fee.
Is there a food or drink minimum?
There is no required minimum on food or drink. A full menu and bar selection is available throughout the show in our venue with exceptional service and a dedicated kitchen. Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Yes! Our box office hours are Monday-Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. As long as tickets are still available for the event, you may purchase tickets in person the day of. Avoid ticket fees by signing up for a Vinofile membership or paying with cash. A 10% service fee will be applied to your purchase at the door for all other forms of payment.
Can I attend an event if i am under 21?
We are an all ages venue. If under 21, we ask that you do not choose seats at the bar or consume alcohol.
What happens if an event is canceled?
In the event of a cancelation or postponement, an email notification will be sent to ticket holders with information on what to do with their tickets. Please contact email@example.com with any questions or concerns.
What happens if I run late? Will I lose my seats?
Your seats will be held for you until the end of the show. We will never give your seats away.
Is there a dress code?
There is no formal dress code, we are a very casual venue.
I bought tickets to a show, and now I can't make it. What are my options?
Unfortunately, all ticket sales are final and we do not issue refunds, transfers or credit. If you can find someone to use your tickets, please email your guest's name and your order number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can alter your reservation.
Do you serve more than just wine?
Yes we do! We have a full bar for your drinking pleasure.
How do I make a reservation for a General Admission event?
All you need to do is purchase your ticket. Seating is based on a first come, first served basis. We do not take reservations for these events, so please arrive early to get a good seat.
What's included in my ticket purchase?
Unless otherwise noted, your ticket price only includes admission to the event. Dinner and drinks are not included but are available for purchase at your seats.
What does it mean when an event says “Private Sale” on your website? Can I buy tickets?
VinoFile members receive a special pre sale period as a part of their membership. When you see “Private Sale” on an event, it means that only VinoFile members are currently able to purchase tickets. Tickets typically become available to the public 48 hours after they are announced to members. VinoFile members simply need to log-in and they will be granted access to purchase tickets. If I don't have a ticket to the show, can I still come in and sit at the bar?
When we have a show, the main space is for ticket holders only. However our Barrel Room is a separate space and open to non ticket holders for dinner and drinks. Please make reservations for the Barrel Room here.
