Evan FazioGeneral ManagerOriginally from Rockville Centre, NY, Evan’s journey through the hospitality industry started with bussing tables at a hometown steakhouse. It was while living in New Orleans as a college student, that Evan’s passion for food, beverage, and quality service, began to guide his professional compass towards a career in hospitality. In 2005, Evan moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where he joined Bravo / Brio Restaurant Group. There, over the course of nearly 8 years, he developed his skills in a number of managerial capacities, including as a national trainer, overseeing employee & systems development in multiple new properties around the country. In 2012 Evan returned to New York City to apply his abilities to the Manhattan hospitality world. He joined BR Guest with Dos Caminos, where he found a new passion for tequila & mezcal, eventually writing the brand’s Mexican spirit training guides and hosting regular tequila classes throughout the city. Before joining City Winery in 2017, Evan was General Manager with David Burke Group, where the mid midtown fine-dining focus helped round out the skills and vision he would ultimately bring to City Vineyard. When Evan isn’t working he spends his time with wife and baby daughter, as well as playing bass in an Beatles inspired improv jam band. His favorite wine from City Winery is the 2015 Syrah Reserve.
Justin Seitzler Beverage ManagerJustin began managing restaurants and beverage programs at the age of twenty. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Justin moved to New York City in 2017. City Vineyard was the first place he sent his resume to after finding it combined his three passions; hospitality, wine, and music. His favorite City Winery wine is the Pinot Noir Reserve. When not at City Vineyard, Justin can be found at the local coffee-shop with a book, a Tom Waits album, and an espresso.
Alexandria NohaltyService ManagerHailing from a small town in Nebraska, Alexandria now thrives in everyday life in NYC. A graduate from Bemidji State University in Minnesota with a degree in Mass Communications, Alex uses that, her 18 years of experience in the restaurant industry, & vivacious personality to really connect with the guests on a personal level. Music has always been a big part of her life since she was five. Piano lessons, choir, band, friends in the opera and jazz world, music has never been far from her. Alexandria started with the company back in the summer of 2017 as a server and has climbed the ladder to become our newest Service Manager. During her time here, the love of wine has grown in knowledge and taste. Her favorite wine is the City Winery 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.
Mike LandasExecutive ChefA graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education, Michael has extensive NYC restaurant experience, listing Spigolo, Abe & Arthur’s, Little Beet, and Pig & Khao among the varied restaurants where he learned and honed his personal style. Always looking to improve, he lists Seattle and New Orleans as favorite culinary cities and influences. Michael joined the City Vineyard team in October 2017, and within days his influence was felt in the kitchen and on the menu. Outside CV, he can often be found in farmer’s markets and food halls, looking for the next experience to share on the menu.
Tiffany Jefferies Sous ChefChef Tiffany brings 15 years of culinary love and experience to The City Winery. Her knowledge of the industry comes from a broad range of experience in several culinary markets including (but not limited to) the resort towns: St. John, USVI, Denali, Alaska, Martha’s Vineyard, MA and Montauk, New York. Chef Tiffany has worked with several Michelin-starred Chefs and was also a contestant on the Food Network’s Reality Show “Chopped” in 2011. Chef Tiffany continues to delight guests with her blend of refined culinary elegance with contemporary bold flavors. She considers it part of her job to inspire creativity in others as she creates and leads by example. In her words: “EVERYTHING MUST BE BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYTHING MUST BE SEASONED!"
