Part virtuoso and part storyteller, you might say that Jacob Johnson does with a guitar what Gene Kelly did with dance. Although his songwriting has won awards and his guitar-playing has put him on stage with Tommy Emmanuel and Phil Keaggy, his ability as an entertainer is what has won fans throughout the southeast. He refers to himself as "a ham that just wants to be on stage" but he’s much more than that. Jacob is an amazingly talented guitarist and songwriter which, combined with a bit of a personality, makes for a wildly impressive stage performance.
Parker Hastings is an 18 year-old fingerstyle/singer/songwriter from Central Kentucky where there is a deep heritage of country, folk, and bluegrass music. He began learning the guitar at age 6, playing the music he enjoyed listening to on the radio. His whole mindset of playing guitar changed when he went to his first Tommy Emmanuel concert when he was just 8 years old. He is very active in promoting thumbpicking and fingerstyle guitar, incorporating the traditional sounds into his music. Parker is continuing to grow as a musician, singer, and songwriter, making a "thumbprint" with his original music. He has had many opportunities to share his music with audiences in a multitude of places, opened for other artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Jerry Douglas, Ben Rector, Loren Barrigar & Mark Mazengarb to name a few. He has also collaborated with some of the best musicians in Nashville at shows like the Jerry Reed Tribute and Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention. His style ranges anywhere from Glenn Miller to James Taylor, Chet Atkins to Earth Wind & Fire, his own original music, and much more! He enjoys arranging music, bringing a fresh sound to old classics, making them new again. He has won numerous guitar contests, one of them being the International Home of the Legends Thumbpicking Competition, and most recently won the Wayne Henderson Festival Competition in June of 2018.
Travis Bowman is an acoustic guitarist/harp guitarist and current International Fingerstyle Champion from Little Rock, AR. First heavily influenced by blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan, Travis turned to fingerstyle after a high school teacher suggested he learn "Little Martha" by Duane Allman. From there he found the music of Leo Kottke, Michael Hedges, Andy McKee, Antoine Dufour, Stephen Bennett, and Masa Sumide.
Travis has won noteriety in national and international guitar competitions such as the Ernie Ball Acoustic Prodigy Competition in 2014, and the Arkansas State Fingerpicking Competition in 2017. Travis placed 1st in the International Fingerpicking Competition at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas.
In 2015 Travis' EP "Superhero" was recorded at NRG Studios and was produced by viral YouTube sensation Andy McKee. His debut album "Launch" (2016) was recorded at FretMonkey Records studios.
Travis has toured the world as a solo act, and has shared the stage with renowned guitarists such as Andy McKee, Ewan Dobson, Craig D'Andrea, Don Alder, Muriel Anderson, Stephen Bennett, Andy Walberg, and Tom Shinness.
