Danny Boy got his start as a teenager with Death Row Records back in the 1990s. As a soloist, he hit Billboard's R&B charts with "Slip N Slide" and "It's Over Now." Concurrently, he performed on tracks by Dr. Dre, & Babyface; but found the greatest success with Tupac. Fans will be glad to know that Danny Boy has a full album entitled, Black Heart available now. "Incredible lyrics, incredible songs," the singer says. "It takes you back to classic R&B where the lyrics make you see the songs, relatable songs. It's a relationship healer. It's not just loving songs and good moments, but the other stuff and how I got through those moments. These songs let you experience my heart. Danny Boy, the incomparable tenor who sang the hooks on TUPAC'S classics such as Platinum Gems, "I Ain't Mad at Cha" and "Picture Me Rollin'" is back. The erstwhile Suge Knight protégé and Death Row artist has weathered a decade's worth of personal and professional storms to re-emerge with a catchy new R&B track. "This Song" On it, Danny Boy passionately croons, "This song is for moving. This song is for grooving. This song is for making some real good love to you." Throughout the romantic track, which sits atop a catchy fusion of swaying swing beats, the crooner's voice effortlessly glides between sultry bass growls and smooth high notes This song reminds me of the 90s and a time when things were so good," Danny Boy says.
