Our commitment to providing a space for you to safely and comfortably indulge your senses has never wavered, but our approach to doing so has certainly evolved. Below, you’ll find a summary of what to expect when visiting the new City Winery New York and what we expect from you. (Bonus points if you can guess all the song references - hey, safety can be fun!) This is something new for us, so we ask for patience and kindness.


US

City Winery is launching a pilot Covid-19 testing program effective Tuesday November 24. For the remainder of 2020, we will REQUIRE that a rapid Covid-19 test be taken by all patrons before entering our restaurant on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. All City Winery employees will also take this test before entering, ensuring that 100% of individuals on the premises have tested negative that day. City Winery will be utilizing Antigen tests with BD Veritor analyzers which provide greater than 99% accuracy for negative results. Services are being provided by Accurex Diagnostic Services. We will also continue to strictly enforce all of our rigorous health and safety protocols. The cost of the test is $50 per person - 100% of that fee goes directly to the testing company - and prepayment via Resy is required in order to make a reservation. Upon arrival, guests will participate in our mandatory wellness check, then receive a shallow nasal swab by a certified practitioner, a glass of City Winery Bubbles, and be asked to wait the 10-15 minutes for their results outside of City Winery. If the rapid result is negative, the guest will be welcome to enter, with their mask in place, and practice all proper socially distanced protocols. If positive, City Winery will offer a PCR test sent to a partnered CLIA lab and 24 hours to validate the results, but the individual will not be permitted to enter the premises.

Additionally, on all nights we will continue to create as safe an environment as possible by doing the following:

  • The installation of the Merv-13 air filter with higher efficiency filtration capabilities to capture more particles. Usually used in hospitals and nursing homes.
    • Like sunshine, fresh clean air.

  • Contactless temperature check & wellness questions (we'll take this, too)

    • Hot blooded? We’ll check it and see

  • Tables will be 6 ft. apart

    • Some people call me the space cowboy

  • Employees will wear masks and gloves

    • I like the way you work it 

  • Tables & chairs will be sanitized after each guest

    • So fresh. So clean.

  • Ongoing and frequent sanitization of door handles, tables, chairs, restrooms, you name it. 

    • Time after time

  • If at capacity, we'll let you know when seating’s available.

    • Don’t stand so close to me

We have made additional adjustments to our modification and refund policies to provide you with maximum flexibility while attendance remains restricted in many parts of the country.

  • All shows through August 31st are currently postponed.  Our local concierge teams will contact all ticket holders with new dates and their available ticket options.

  • We have loosened our no refunds policy to allow any guest who cannot attend the rescheduled date or isn't comfortable in attending a public gathering to return their tickets for store credit to use anytime in the future (without expiration), or a Food & Beverage Gift Card plus an additional 20% bonus good for dine in or takeout for food and wine purchases.

  • We will also be updating our seating map to adhere to local health officials guidelines regarding social distance requirements. Please note that exact seat numbers might change due to removal or addition of inventory based on any updates regarding the occupancy limits in each market. We will do our best to keep your section as close to the original selection
