Main Venue

Capacity: 400 Seated / 750 Reception

 

The Main Venue is the cornerstone of City Winery Hudson Valley. Once the heart of the textile mill, it once housed all the major yarn machines including two spinning frame machines, two twister machines and three reeling machines, which all which ran on hydropower from the Wallkill River. Many of its original architectural features have been maintained, especially its signature wood beam ceilings and pully system, which add to the room's rustic charm. The largest of all the space at City Winery Hudson Valley, The Main Venue can also be divided to hold parties of up to 200 for a combined ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

 

The Loft

Capacity: 60 Seated / 150 Reception / 225 with Patio

 

Adjacent to The Main Venue you'll find The Gallery, a glass-enclosed space that gives you a glimpse into the heart of City Winery's winemaking operation. With two of its own fermentation tanks, The Gallery overlooks our fully-functioning winery, and it also provides access to our multi-level outdoor terraces. During its days as part of a functioning textile mill, The Gallery was called The Carding Room. Inside, raw wool was disentangled, cleaned, and prepared for spinning in a process called carding.
