This West Coast blend combines the smoky-spicy cherry aromas of Oregon with the jammy structure and smooth body of California’s Central Coast. Crafted from Pinot Noir sourced in Willamette Valley and the Central Coast, each lot was fermented separately and aged 15 months in French oak before careful blending. Aromas of black cherry, strawberry jam, and fresh herbs lead into a silky, medium-bodied palate with balanced weight. Smooth and expressive, it finishes with bright fruit and a soft, lingering touch.

Wine Profile - 2023 Pinot Noir Spring Street

This wine has a deep, brooding nose that makes you almost fall into the glass.  The aroma is a complex bouquet of spicy black cherries, strawberry jam and culinary herbs.  The mid-pallet is quite broad with a very silky texture and good weight.  Overall, the wine is a pleasure to drink and the bright fruit finish leaves you feeling satisfied.

This wine is a blend of Pinot Noir from Oregon’s Willamette Valley and Pinot Noir from California’s Central Coast, bringing to the table the best of each cool climate region.

About The Winemaking - 2023 Pinot Noir Spring Street

The two Pinot Noirs were vinified separately in closed top steel tanks with twice daily pumpovers and aged separately for 15 months in French oak barrels.  After aging, we carefully selected barrels from each lot to combine for this blend.  The selections were made with attention to detail on the aromas and flavors that each would bring to the final blend.

Recommended Pairings - 2023 Pinot Noir Spring Street

Easy drinking, this wine pairs well with a lazy spring afternoon.  Lighter cheeses such as fontina, marinated mozzarella or provolone will make a good match, as will dishes with bright, fresh flavors like grilled vegetable crudité, or bruschetta.  Also look toward lighter barbeque fair - think kabobs or brats.  For a real treat, pair this with a crispy porchetta with spicy jam.
