What is the difference between VIP, Premier and Reserved level tickets?
Our VIP section is elevated and spacious with great views and is the only section with two-top tables. Front Premier section offers the seats closest in proximity to the stage with a full view at tables of four. The premier section is located between the Front Premier and Reserved and VIP sections. The reserved section encompasses the remainder of the seating in the venue. While the reserved seats are the furthest back in the venue, relatively speaking, keep in mind it is a very intimate setting, so every seat will provide a great view and unique concert-going experience.
What do I use as my ticket?
We do not issue paper tickets. Your name is on a list at the front door. Your email confirmation and a photo ID are required to check in.
What do I need to ensure my reservation?
Your tickets serve as your venue reservation automatically. You do not need an additional reservation to eat and drink at your seats for the show, which will be held for you until the end of the show. All ticket sales are final. No refunds or credits.
How long before a show can I sit down?
Your seats are typically available to you 2 hours prior to the show unless otherwise specified by us prior to the event. You will find more details in your confirmation email.
Can I attend an event if I am under 21?
We are an all ages venue. If under 21, we ask that you do not choose seats at the bar nor consume alcohol.
What happens if I run late? Will I lose my seats?
Your seats will be held for you until the end of the show. We will never give your seats away.
Is there a dress code?
There is no formal dress code, dress for a night of great listening, dining and wine drinking.
I bought tickets to a show, and now I can't make it. What are my options?
Unfortunately all ticket sales are final and we do not issue refunds, transfers or credit. If you can find someone to use your tickets, please email your guest's name and your order number to email@example.com and we’ll happily change your reservation.
Do you serve more than just wine? Is there a drink minimum?
We have a full bar for your drinking pleasure. There is no required minimum on food or drink, and a full menu and bar selection is available throughout the show.

How do I make a reservation for a General Admission event?
All you need to do is purchase your ticket. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. We do not take reservations for these events, so please arrive early to maximize your seating options.
What's included in my ticket purchase?
Unless otherwise noted, your ticket price only includes admission to the event. Dinner and drinks are not included but are available for purchase at your seats.
How do I get there?
Take the 'L' train to Morgan Station (Green or Pink line), walk south on N Morgan Street and then west on W Randolph, destination is on the right at the intersection of Randolph and Racine. For public transportation directions please click Here. Driving directions? Keep in mind that Randolph is a one-way street, with traffic flowing to the west.
From I90/94W toward Wisconsin: take the Randolph Street exit. Turn left onto Randolph Street. Continue west on Randolph. Destination is on the right at the intersection of Randolph and Racine.
From I90/94E toward Indiana, take the Randolph Street exit. Turn right on Randolph Street. Continue west on Randolph. Destination is on the right.

Is parking available?
Valet parking is available for $13 per car and free for VinoFile members! Additionally, excellent street parking is available along Randolph and surrounding side streets.

Can I order shirts in sizes currently unavailable?
We do not honor specific order requests, so check our online store or retail counter for the newest options.
Can I order wine that is currently unavailable?
Once we run out of a wine, we will not have anymore of that vintage and possibly that specific varietal and vineyard. Check out our online wine shop or sign up for our weekly newsletter to be updated on future releases.
Can I take wine to go?
Yes you can! City Winery Chicago bottled wine, reserve City Winery wine, our complete wine list, and even growlers of our tap wine are available to go. If you purchase a bottle in our restaurant or venue and do not finish it, we can even re-seal the bottle for you if you would like to take it home.
Can I bring my own wine in?
Guests are encouraged to explore our wine list ahead of their visit. If they still wish to bring in their own bottle of wine and it is not available on our list, the manager on duty may allow outside bottles at their discretion for a $25 corkage fee.

What is your maximum party size for restaurant reservations?
Our restaurant is happy to host parties of up to 15 guests on any night in the restaurant. Larger groups wishing to place two reservations for the same party will be treated as two separate parties, and cannot be guaranteed proximity of seating or particular rooms or tables. Can I bring in a cake or desserts for my party?
We always encourage our guests to explore our custom cakes offerings from our pastry chef Angelica Rangel. Order online here with 72 hours notice, and Angelica will make your cake fresh for you on the day of your reservation. For those guests who would prefer to bring in an outside cake, cupcakes, or other desserts, there will be a $5 cake cutting fee per person.
Can you tell me about the wine tours offered here?
City Winery Chicago offers wine tours daily at 3:30pm or 4:30pm (no more than 14 people per time slot) or on Sundays at hourly slots beginning at 10:30am and going until 4:30pm. $50 a person includes a sommelier-guided tour & tasting of several wines we make here, paired with crostini bites and a in-depth tour of our unique City Winery. Tours last about an hour and you are more than welcome to stay for dinner or drinks at the bar afterward. Book a tour here.
What are wine growlers?
Growlers allow guests to have any of our City Winery wines available to go - even if we haven’t bottled them! All of our City Winery tap wines that are not available in bottles are available to go as growlers - prices vary by wine. There is a $5 growler fee that is waived if you return with your growler for refill.
What about free growler fills for lunch and brunch?
During lunch and brunch only, you can drink your growler in house. If you spend $50 or more in food or non-tap wine, you will receive a complimentary wine growler fill. During brunch and lunch hours, any growler-eligible wine is available for $25, and a growler refill is only $15.
Do you offer wine flights or wine tastings?
Wine flights are offered during brunch, lunch and during the week, Monday-Thursday. $5 Wine tastings are currently every Friday evening with our winemaker, Robert Kowal in the lobby. Check our wine event calendar frequently to see if a class or wine dinner might interest you.
