We are Hitting the Pause Button

December 29, 2020

Dear City Winery Chicago Guests,

Thank you for being a part of the City Winery Chicago family. We greatly appreciate your support through a difficult year as we reopened our doors, re-employed some of our team members, and provided a space for you to safely indulge your senses.

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to pause operations again and go into hibernation mode for a few months to ensure that we can reopen when indoor dining resumes. This temporary closure of the business is tough, given how much support we’ve received from our guests and how hard we worked to ensure everyone's safety.

With the recent increase of COVID-19 cases, continued business limitations barring us from indoor dining, hosting events and concerts, we need to be smart to financially sustain our business in the long run.

Our last day open to the public will be this Wednesday, 12/30 and our goal is to reopen as soon as possible when indoor dining can resume and some financial relief through the government breathes new life into our industry. In the meantime, please take care of yourselves and your communities, and if you are able, please consider supporting City Winery by:

Please note that throughout this pause, we are still available for wine pickup and delivery as well as accepting private event inquiries, and our team is available to help you plan life’s special moments - safely.

We will continue to communicate with you on our efforts throughout this pause, and we look forward to the day that we can share news of reopening.
