Keven Halopoff General ManagerKeven has spent the last 20 years in the F+B industry and after a break learning underwater construction and demolition, then subsequently traveling the country working underwater in nuclear power plants, Keven returned to his true passion in the food, wine and music world. After working at such places as The Liberty and W Hotels, Keven spent the last 3 years working for the Bowery Presents as the General Manager at The Sinclair, a 500 person cap room and 150 seat restaurant, in Harvard Square.
ENX DADULAS Executive ChefHailing from Hawaii, Enx began his culinary career more than 20 years ago in restaurants specializing in Japanese/French cuisine and fine dining modern Italian. His skills grew and matured under the guidance of Master Chef Roy Yamaguchi at his renowned Roy’s restaurants; working his way up through the kitchen from line cook, to sous chef, to executive chef and assisting Roy in the opening of several restaurants. Enx credits Roy for the development of his passion for cooking and thrill of the business. He and his wife Alyssa moved to Boston in pursuit of new experiences and Enx has since worked with celebrity chef Barbara Lynch, as well as Jean Joho at Brassiere Jo and several other local fine dining restaurants. Eventually Enx opened and owned his own restaurant, and for the past 6 years provided Cape Ann (50 minutes north of Boston) with his talents in Modern American Cuisine. Our Executive Chef is excited for this next chapter in his life at City Winery, and looks forward to sharing his love for using local ingredients with seasonally inspired flavors.
Stephen Feke WinemakerStephen Feke has over 17 years’ experience working in the United States wine industry. He began working for V. Sattui winery while attending high school in St. Helena, California in the Napa Valley. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management while working as an Enologist for the E&J Gallo corporation's premiere red wine facility in the formerly owned Louis M. Martini Winery. While working for Gallo he received formal training in enology and viticulture, and found his passion for making fine wines. He also found an unmet passion for living in urban settings, something that clashed with his ability to make world-class wines. After working in Los Angeles for 6 years as Assistant Winemaker for San Antonio Winery, and searching for an urban winemaking balance, Stephen accepted the role as Assistant Winemaker for City Winery Atlanta. After a successful opening and harvest in Atlanta, Stephen accepted the role as Head Winemaker there and was then chosen to be the Winemaker for the new City Winery Boston opening in the fall of 2017.
Michael Bishop Program DirectorMichael grew up in New England with a passion for the art of music and food. He pursued his love of culinary and became a Sous Chef early in his career. Eventually he realized he wanted to wear jeans and a black hoodie to work everyday so he quickly changed gears and pursued a career in music. Michael graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Music Industry. He’s worked at venues throughout Boston and Philadelphia booking local talent and upcoming artists. Michael is excited to be working at City Winery, being able to book talent in both the Main Concert Venue and Haymarket Lounge. Fun fact: his favorite holiday is April Fool’s Day and had the opportunity to tour internationally while he was managing a band.
Joei Bush Box Office ManagerJoei grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Tacoma, Washington. Her love for the arts inspired her to attend high school at Tacoma School of the Arts where she dabbled in all art forms. She found a passion for music and loved classes about audio recording and the music industry. A couple years after high school, she found herself attending college at Columbia College in Chicago where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Entertainment Media Management specializing in Live and Performing Arts. An internship at Reggie's Rock Club on the south side of Chicago led to positions as their Talent Buyer's Assistant and Marketing Director. Three years later and looking for a change, she was hired as an Usher at City Winery Chicago. Since then, she's climbed from Usher to Concierge to Guest Services Coordinator for Chicago to being the Box Office Manager in Atlanta. After a year in Atlanta, she transferred to Boston to be the Box Office Manager. In Joei's spare time, she loves to travel, rock climb and kayak.
Kelly Coggins Beverage DirectorOnce on the road to becoming a pastry chef, Kelly was bitten by the booze bug in college and hasn't looked back. It was there at the Culinary Institute of America that he discovered how interesting the intricacies of wine and spirits can be--driving him to become the Beverage Director of Rialto in Cambridge and Head Sommelier at Bistro du Midi in Boston. He also served as the Beverage Director and General Manager at Strip-T's in Watertown, where the restaurant received two James Beard award nominations for outstanding service. Throughout his career, Kelly has aspired to learn as much as he can about wine and aggressively pursued an education to become a true wine nerd. He has completed the Court of Master Sommeliers Certified exam and is currently studying for the Advanced exam. He has also traveled to Italy, Portugal, and (to truly understand the entire wine making process) has worked harvest in the Mosel region for Weiser-Künstler where he gained a true appreciation for German wines (and learned a killer pierogi recipe). Constantly doling out bits of fascinating trivia to guests and making sure his co-workers feel confident with their wine list, he has also taught a course on terrior driven cocktails at Portland Cocktail Week and as an elective at the Bar Institute program in Austin, TX. Always eager to share his experiences and understanding of the wine world, Kelly has lent books from his personal library to a number of Boston's bartenders, sommeliers, and distributors. When not trying to educate the world, Kelly is exploring it (often with his husband in tow). He is also the current serving president for the Boston chapter of the U.S. Bartenders Guild.
Stacey Heath Concert ManagerPlaying music since the age of two to obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business & Management, Stacey considers herself a Jill of many trades. Wearing all the hats her experience spans from being a production assistant, stage hand, merchandise seller, stage manager, box office manager, touring, festivals, and more. This concert manager is here to make sure all needs are taken care of, everyone is happy, and the show goes on.
Courtney Dwyer Marketing DirectorCourtney graduated from Boston College with a degree in Finance & Marketing. Upon graduation, Courtney moved to New York City where she worked in Digital Advertising and the Financial Services Industry. After living in NYC for 5 years, she moved down south to Georgia to market economic and investment research. Courtney is excited to be back in Boston working for a company that combines her passion for music, wine, food and philanthropy. Courtney brings with her great experience in sales, marketing, advertising, business development and strategic partnerships. In her free time, she loves to travel (anywhere by the water), workout, cook, see live music, play the guitar and spend time with family, friends and her toy poodle, Charlie!
Krysten Mallett Events DirectorAfter graduating college with a degree in Business Management, Krysten began her career in the financial world. A few years later, Krysten decided to transition her career into the hospitality industry and since, has worked as a Restaurant Manager, Food and Beverage Director, Director of Sales & Marketing, and now as the Private Event Director of City Winery Boston. Her experience with operations, service and events provides her with a well rounded understanding of the industry. With her ambitious attitude and passion for events she is driven to create memorable experiences that will exceed expectations. Fun Fact: Krysten’s favorite color is Wine!
Ryan O'Connor Technical Director and Production ManagerRyan graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Industry Studies with a Concentration in Production & Recording and Minor in Business. Ryan is a driven multitalented professional and servers as our Technical Director and Production Manager. His work brings him many diverse and unique challenges every day. Being an Audio Engineer has given him a range of skills that he utilizes in many different ways. The aspects of his profession places him at the intersection between business, technology, and music. His passion for music is the reason why he loves what he does. In his free time, he loves to play his drums or the guitar.
David Miles Perricone Graphic DesignerGrowing up in Boston, David knew a few things well: music, food, and design. Influenced by his parents, both musicians, he began pursuing music himself. This eventually led to graphic design. Locals from his community asked him to design their apparel for their bands which inspired David's love for his work. He went from working in his basement to receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. All of this has led him to where he is today: the City Winery team.
Hannah Lurier Sous Chef and Pastry ChefTrained as a classic French Pastry Chef, Hannah graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with a dual degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and Restaurant Management. Following her graduation, Hannah moved to Boston to work at a wedding & specialty cake shop before becoming an Executive Pasty Chef at a prestigious Italian Restaurant. Hannah brings with her to City Winery a combination of experience, knowledge and a passion for the art of cooking & baking. Hannah has been an integral part of the success in the kitchen since opening and has been promoted to Sous Chef. In her new role, she will continue to assist the Executive Chef in providing an outstanding culinary experience for our customers joining us in the restaurant, venue, and private events. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, checking out the new hot spots, networking amongst peers and giving back to the community.
Erick Leon Service DirectorErick Leon was born and raised in Mexico City with a passion for food (even if it was just eating it) and sports since he was very little. Erick grew up dreaming of being a professional soccer player; once he saw that was not going to happen decided to study in the U.S. Erick became really passionate about food, wine, spirits and thus decided to focus his career and gain experience in the hospitality industry. He has worked in almost every single position of the service industry both at hotels and restaurants. Erick employs a lead by example style of management, always enriching his staff, building pride and encouraging them to take ownership of their responsibilities and provide exceptional customer service to their guests. Erick loves Italian and Mexican food, favorite soccer team is Barcelona, favorite drink is a gin & tonic, he speaks 4 languages, and when he is not working, he likes to relax and watch movies.
Kevin Sears Business ManagerKevin graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Finance. After graduation, Kevin pursued his love of winter sports by living/working in Colorado & Vermont during the winter seasons. In the off seasons, he worked in sales & hospitality down on the Cape. Kevin has experience working in the financial services industry holding positions at hedge funds and brokerage firms before joining the City Winery team. Kevin joined our box office at the end of 2017 before quickly getting promoted to Business Manager for his hard work and exemplary skill set. In his free time, Kevin loves to spend his time outdoors, whether it’s pursuing hobbies such as skiing, golfing and fishing or just enjoying a live show with a nice glass of wine.
