About:

Join City Winery’s Beverage Director Kelly Coggins and Halter Ranch’s Assitant Wine Maker, Molly Lonborg for a wine dinner and discussion of ‘New California’. Chef Enx, has carefully crafted a menu to pair with and highlight the wines of Halter Ranch. Take a road trip to the sunshine state and learn about the great things happening in Paso Robles.

Molly joined the Halter Ranch team in June of 2011. Originally hired as the Lab Manager and Cellar Assistant, she was quickly promoted to Enologist, then Assistant Winemaker, and in January 2018, Molly was promoted to Associate Winemaker. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Molly majored in Earth Sciences with a concentration in Wine and Viticulture. She has traveled extensively, and studied geology at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. Molly worked her first harvest in the lab at Orcutt Road Cellars in San Luis Obispo and gained additional cellar experience working at Justin Winery with Halter Ranch Winemaker Kevin Sass. Molly lives on the Halter Ranch property with her husband Jordan Lonborg, who is the Viticulturalist at Tablas Creek Vineyard, and her dog Miles Davis. She enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling and live music.

“Working at Halter Ranch is like a dream come true. The unique property, state-of-the-art winery, diverse vineyard, and amazing colleagues come together to form the perfect working environment. We are truly lucky to have all the resources we need to cultivate and create delicious, approachable, age-worthy wines, all while staying true to our common value of sustainability.”
