In the heart of downtown Boston, in a secluded space with elegant urban interior design and exclusive views of our wine-making facilities, City Winery’s Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar is a welcoming space to relax and unwind. Featuring comforting classics and creative culinary pursuits alike, our menu is wine-inspired, globally-influenced, and locally-sourced, perfect for pairing with City Winery’s own vintages, extensive wine offerings, craft beer and cocktails and more.
As Boston’s premier fully-operational winery, our menu features over a dozen tap wine options, preserved in stainless steel kegs in a temperature-controlled environment for optimum freshness with every glass. The tap system, developed by City Winery’s Master Winemaker David Lecomte, has been recognized for its “green” approach with no need for bottling, corks or labels; and therefore, minimal impact on the environment. Our Barrel Room Restaurant and Wine Bar is open for brunch and dinner service. Cheers!
Private Dining
When it comes to restaurants with private rooms, City Winery’s stunning spaces can’t be beat. Our tasting room is surrounded by oak wine barrels in an intimate, secluded area, creating a relaxed environment for social and corporate events, wine tastings, and multi-course meals for parties of 30 or less. We also offer a smaller private dining area for 12 or less overlooking the wine barrels in our aging room. Culinary Philosophy
City Winery creates cuisine meant to be paired with a great glass of wine. Borrowing from Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern cultures and traditions that have been pairing wholesome food with wine for centuries, each location's menu features a variety of City Winery signature items, complemented by a selection of locally-sourced, regionally-inspired creations from the local Executive Chef.
