Late night brings the most outlandish sounds and amazing gadgetry. Improvisation, dub, electronica, phase-bash, live video processing, electro-pop, surprising moments of techno-calm: all this and more – just never what you expect!
Performing on their own instruments, including mutant air-guitars (that actually work!), shoes, and laptops, these sonic-sculptors/composers/performers from around the world are converging on New York this week for the largest international annual gathering of computer musicians, ICMC 2010.
Handpicked from fifteen concerts, this is an eclectic, energetic and electric selection of the most 'out” works presented in the intimacy of the City Winery.
